Centenas de peruanos voltaram a lotar o único posto de combustíveis da cidade acreana de Assis Brasil, na fronteira com o Peru. Uma fila quilométrica foi registrada nesse domingo (29) nos arredores do estabelecimento comercial, que chegou a ficar sem combustível por algumas horas.
A maioria deles é da cidade de Iñapari, que faz fronteira com o município acreano, e têm recorrido ao território brasileiro por causa da falta de produtos no Peru, em meio à crise política e confrontos entre manifestantes e a polícia.
“Existe uma crise política no Peru. Centenas de pessoas já morreram e as cidades deles estão desabastecidas, tanto de combustíveis quanto de alimentos. O Peru vem há meses com uma crise intensa. E estamos próximos de uma região que compreende alguns vilarejos peruanos e cidades maiores, como Puerto Maldonado, que tem mais de 100 mil habitantes. E eles estão buscando os produtos que estão em falta por lá aqui na primeira cidade brasileira, que é a Assis Brasil, na fronteira”, disse o prefeito de Assis Brasil, Jerry Correia.
Conforme o prefeito, por conta da alta demanda, o posto ficou sem combustível por algumas horas, mas o abastecimento foi reestabelecido ainda no domingo. Correia não soube informar como está a situação do posto nesta segunda-feira (30).
“A prefeitura está informando esses registros ao Ministério das Relações Exteriores, Casa Civil do Governo Federal, Secretaria de Estado de Segurança Pública e Casa Civil do Governo do Acre. Segundo o secretário de estado de segurança pública me informou que irá reforçar o policiamento e fiscalização aqui na fronteira”, afirmou Correia.
Ao g1, o secretário de Estado de Justiça e Segurança Pública do Acre, José Américo Gaia, informou que conversou com o prefeito de Assis Brasil e que, nesse momento, o policiamento deve ser “incrementado” na região, com a disponibilização de equipes para atuar, num primeiro momento, na prevenção, em razão do grande fluxo de pessoas. .
“Com aumento desse número de pessoas, pode surgir algum tipo de ocorrência e ou desordem que extrapolam as apontadas pela estatística local onde, efetivo e logística existente não atendam a demanda de forma eficiente e eficaz”, disse o secretário.
No último dia 23, um grupo grande de peruanos já tinha lotado o posto de combustíveis de Assis Brasil e no dia seguinte a situação normalizou. Na época, a Secretaria de Estado de Justiça e Segurança Pública (Sejusp) informou que acompanhava a situação e que se reuniu com todas as instituições públicas estaduais e federais na região.
